My husband and I set up familiesrecommend.co.uk in 2008 and launched our website in April 2009.
We set it up after realising when looking for places to take our baby son, we couldn’t find personal recommendations on the quality of activities or the experiences of other parents.
We felt than word of mouth is the best advertisement for any business and so we used this as the basis of our site.
There are already recommendations for a number of Newcastle Business Mum’s businesses including Small Print, Kidz Swap Shop, Musical Minis and Baby Cake Bakery on the site. But we would like to see more!
