Presentation skills development – 22nd September 2011 (10am – 1pm)
Effective presentation skills are more than just having the confidence to speak in public. The ability to develop and prepare for a presentation is also essential.
This training session will enable you to prepare for successful presentations. By the end of the event you will be able to:
This event represents great value for money – only £30 per person.
Who should attend? Anyone with no or little experience in developing presentations Anyone who would like to brush up their knowledge in this area and receive some feedback from a supportive facilitator Anyone with little time available for training but who recognises this is an area they would like to develop further Structure of the event and next steps.
We appreciate that your time is precious. This event will be focused in terms of content to cover the key things to be aware of. We also believe training should be practical and you will be required to bring a short presentation you have developed or ideas for a presentation, so you can work on it throughout the session.
The next stage of your development may be to focus on the delivery of a presentation – this can be achieved through one to one coaching or in a group session to enable you to practice the skills – a group session will be held on 25th October (£30 per person). For more details on this stage and associated costs for one to one support please get in touch.
How do I reserve my place? Please get in touch via the contact us page www.annadorward.co.uk
Where is the event going to be held? Newcastle Business Village, Benton.
There are lots of mums, mams, nana’s, grandmas in business in the North East of England and we’re looking for lots of them to tell us their business stories and experiences, how they got started and how they are finding business in such tough times.
We’re always on the look-out for guest bloggers, which is great for the Newcastle Business Mums community and helps the mums and their businesses raise their profile and increase awareness of their products and services and more traffic to your own site = more business!
Being a guest blogger also opens up many PR opportunities with local and national journalists who often use our site for research and inspiration for stories.
If you’re interested in becoming a Newcastle Business Mums blogger, please contact vicki on vicki@vickistonemarketing.co.uk or tweet @vickistonebiz for more info.
It’s free to blog for us, and we’re happy to offer blog spots on a bite-size basis, with no pressure to having to keep writing week in week out.
Look forward to hearing from you soon
