Earlier on today, Newcastle Business Mums Vicki Stone, Nicky Gray and Janet Fay had an interesting debate with Jonathan Miles on his show on BBC Radio Newcastle.

Jonathan also interviewed Shazia Mustafa from Third Door who will be our guest speaker at our event on 20th October.

The subject they discusssed was the proportion of women at board level, women in business, ’mumpreneurs’ and stay at home mums.

There’s a misconception that working from home is somehow easier. That the TV and the couch are too tempting an alternative to get anything else done. When the reality is, people who work from home often work much harder than their office-based counterparts.
